FLOOD QUESTIONS
Common questions after a flood
Who runs 321flood.com?
Three locally owned OBC companies on the Space Coast: Cooling 321 (air conditioning, Fla. Lic. CAC1825377), OBC Construction (general contractor, Fla. Lic. CGC1520090) and OBC Engineering (Fla. CA No. 39732). All are licensed and insured.
Should I run my AC if it sat in floodwater?
No. Leave it off at the breaker and have a licensed AC contractor inspect it before you turn it back on.
What should I do first after my home floods?
Make sure everyone is safe, follow official instructions, take photos and video of every room before cleanup, mark the water line, and contact your insurance company.
Do you handle insurance claims?
No. OBC Engineering documents damage in an engineered report signed and sealed by a Florida-licensed Professional Engineer. We document damage, we do not negotiate or adjust claims. You decide whether to share the report with your insurer.
Do you remove mold?
Yes. OBC Construction (Fla. Lic. CGC1520090) handles mold remediation as part of flood repair: finding moisture, removing affected materials, drying and rebuilding.
